We love leaving full moon tea parties for the fairies in our backyard. Sometimes they leave us a treasure or two, and they is always evidence of their visit in the form of very fine golden coloured fairy/pixie dust. recently Sofia received the most stunning little fairy tea set I have ever seen to use in her dolls house and also for the auspicious full moon fairy tea parties at our house.
Here is the last full moon party that Sofia and Sacha set up next to the fairy garden at our place. Pineapple juice in tiny tea cups, a crystal for them to keep, a tiny pink flower in a tiny vase, and a beeswax candle. We always leave teeny cookies or some delicious seeds (usually Sofia's favourite sunflower). Sometime they use doll house furniture, other times they create the table setting with blocks. In return for their kindness they have received precious stones, special sea shells, fairy gardening tools (spades, watering can and rake), and the miniature vase you see here.
