Yesterday and Saturday was Diwali festival in Auckland. Shawn and I only missed last year because I was heavily pregnant with Sofia at the time, but have been to every year for the past six. I love it. the food, music and atmosphere are so great.Yesterday my friend Jene and I decided to get Henna designs on our hands. I have always wanted to, but have always been in really corporate/senior roles in organisations that would not have understood. Finally, I am my own boss (Mummy) and I can do what I like. They look so great, even if I don't have the nicest hands!
