It is getting close now to the time when we will be ready to have some hens here at our little place. We have been growing some grass over the clay they will call home, and Shawn has been building them a chicken palace. He is really clever my husband and I should also mention that he's a total perfectionist. They are very lucky chickens! He has given them a special adjustable window to encourage good air flow and a perspex viewing window so they can watch the full moon from their night roosts. Lucky little hens.
Anyway Sofia and her special little friend had a trial of the hen palace on the weekend, just to make sure it would suit their lofty requirements.
It sure is getting pretty exciting around here. Four little chickens, we can't wait to have you call the palace home!
