On the beach

Tairua Beach rates for me as one of the loveliest beaches in New Zealand. It always feels wonderful being down there, playing in the sand and hearing the waves crashing. Lately Sofia has been asking to "go down to the crashing waves". By which she means she wants to go wave jumping with Mama, rather than playing by the estuary.

We are so blessed that Nanny and Granddad live near this beautiful beach.
