These holidays were particularly wet. Although Sofia, Sacha and their big cousin Connor had fun playing in the rain with their Nanny.
We were at my parent's place in Tairua and it rained, almost constantly. Oh and Shawn was building a new kitchen, so we were banned from the building site. We spent some time at my Auntie's place down the road, and some time playing in the rain. We had some of our cousins and two Aunties(all 14 of them!) pop in for lunch when we had a half finished kitchen. Somehow I managed to make some pasta and bean soup to fill them up. Sofia and Sacha were really excited to see the big cousins.
Sacha kept disappearing, and we we call his name and hear a little giggle. Then we would find him in the cupboards again. He worked out how to open the new ones (once fitted with their doors), and because they were empty he would pop inside. It was great fun!
