Today I took Sofia down to the surf beach in Tairua so she could experience big surf. We live near Mission Bay in Auckland, but that is more harbour and less ocean.She was transfixed by the sound and movement of the big waves rolling in and out. She stood up while I held her under her arms so she could experience the water rushing in and out around her feet in the sand.
