Another new tradition for us as this is only Sofia's second Christmas (she was 6 weeks old last year), is the advent calendar.
Every morning Sofia visits her Daddy and together they count the days that have passed so far, and then they open a new door. Behind the door is a small chocolate treat which Sofia admires for just a second before popping it into her little mouth. She gets very upset when Daddy puts it back beside the bed for the next morning. Chocolate before breakfast is probably not a good habit. Next year I plan to replace this calendar with a handmade on with something interesting/cute inside the pocket.
