Re-making something old

On the weekend I decorated my Mum and Dad's tree. I decided gold and red were the colours for this year. They have many decorations and can choose colour schemes each year.
While we were going through all the decorations, Mum found something I had made as a craft project when I was a wee girl. It was a Christmas wreath with teddy bear print. The wreath had long been broken and the material was sitting in the box. I decided the re-make the wreath and hang it on our door this year. It need some unpicking and re-sewing (as well as a new polystyrene wreath for inside). It looks really funny, but I love the fact that I made it as a child and re-made it as an adult.
