Birthday boy

Yesterday was my gorgeous husbands birthday. I know sad isn't it being born on boxing day. It is awfully hard to arrange a party as most of your friends go away with their families for Christmas.

Anyway we had a lovely birthday BBQ, to which we invited Shawn's Dad and Step mum, and a few friends who were in town.

I admit I attempted, in the middle of chaos, to bake him a carrot cake for his birthday. Anyway disaster ensued and I omitted the all important 4 eggs... Luckily his step Mum had some gorgeous chocolate eclairs so this was his 38th birthday cake...
